Sublimation
If you were sad that you can only print digitally on cotton products, maybe now we can make you feel a little better. Sublimation printing is actually used on 100% man-made fibres such as nylon or polyester.
The production of such sublimation is similar to that of transfer. First, the motif is printed on transfer paper and then pressed onto the desired textile. In this case, however, the final process is slightly different. Sublimation has its specifics mainly in the pressing time and the temperature required for the transfer of the ink.
It is necessary to keep in mind that in order to ensure colour correctness in sublimation, it must be sublimated on white fabric. A huge advantage of sublimation technology is the fact that the fibres of the product itself are dyed and the print is not at all felt to the touch. You can notice a similar design, for example, on various types of jerseys, where the emphasis is on making sure that the shirt still breathes after printing, is light and does not form a " plate ".
Any colour and motif that can be printed in CMYK can then be transferred to the fabric. Colours transferred in this way are brilliant and last forever in the fibre.
